Recipe Format and Tags

To add a recipe, you must be a contributer to the blog (have a gmail account and be added by me).

Here is the format for the posts (for uniformity, not because I am a dictator):

Title: Should be the name of the recipe

In the post, put the following (in bold, with content following):

Serves: [approximate number of people the recipe should serve]

Ingredients: [ingredients; please include ingredients that most people would have on hand, such as cooking oil needed when frying a food, so that all necessary items are listed; be sure to include amounts for each item]

Directions: [Step by Step, numbered, with a space between each direction]

Notes: [anything else you want to add - good substitutions, other ways to prepare, good side dishes that might go with the recipe, etc]

After you have written the text of your post, be sure to add a label. For simplicity, please don't add labels besides those already created unless your dish will not fit into any of the labels. If you don't know all the labels, you can always click "show all" near the label section and Blogger will alphabetically list all currently used labels. All labels that will be used are included as labels for this post. Please let me know if you have other suggestions.

You can also add a little commentary on the post in Italics above the recipe. Not War and Peace, but just a little note on where the recipe came from or when you eat it.

I think that's it! Let me know if you have any questions, or comment with ideas!
