Ingredients:
3-4 Cups Extra Sharp Cheddar, Shredded
14 oz. Elbow Macaroni, cooked and drained
1/2 Stick of Butter
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Spread a handful of cooked macaroni in the bottom of a 13" X 9" baking dish.
3. Top with a handful of shredded cheddar.
4. Top with small pats of butter, salt and pepper.
5. Continue layering noodles, cheddar, butter, salt and pepper, finishing with cheddar.
6. Top with Italian breadcrumbs, and a couple pats of butter.
7. Before you put it in the oven, pour evaporated milk around the edges of the baking dish. You will only use about half the can.
8. Bake for 30 minutes.
9. Gorge yourself on the best mac and cheese evarrrr!!
Notes:
- Use more or less cheese to taste.
- The evaporated milk is something you'll learn to perfect over time. Depending on humidity, moisture in the cheese, etc., the mac and cheese can come out a little runny.
